.....when you're buzzed and watching opening acts.
Obviously after the Meet & Greet and Dirty Waffles I needed to get another beer, have a cigarette and tell every single person I know. But
NOONE was answering their phones!
I called M. I called my sister. Finally I knew someone at my parent's house would answer the phone and luckily Mom was there. I'm sure I was (drunkenly) screaming into the phone, as was everyone else around me.
After they opened the gates, we decided to take a walk around and start looking at the things you can buy. Well actually, Lauren decided...I on the other hand told her that me and my (free) beers would be stationed next to the "B" on the giant B94 banner.
And so I stood there and called most of the people in my phone, who all asked how long I had been drinking, while Lauren looked at all of the merchandise for sale. And then it was time to go to our seats!
I was really sure that we were headed int he wrong direction when we started walking to our seats. I just knew that they were gonna laugh at us and point to a spot on the lawn where we could catch a shuttle that would take us to our seats somewhere in Ohio. But I should have known better. Lauren got us the best seats ever.
So we walked into the lowest section of the
pavilion, handed the guy in the yellow shirt our tickets and he pointed "down front." We kept walking, and walking and then, we were in the 6
th row from the stage, just slightly off center!!!!!!!
A-MA-ZING!!!!
First out were the JBWKZ who are a dance group that I love more and more each time I see them. They always get the audience's attention and really get people excited for the show. Tried to snap a few pictures....too drunk, pictures were fuzzy.
Then it was Jesse McCartney's turn and he was letting us all know that he's "22 now, ya know?" Also not a bad performance by any means. On the other hand, the pictures were still terrible.
I did run away for a few minutes because I knew that I would not be able to make it through the whole concert if I didn't pee. Surprisingly the girls sitting next to me and her sister bought me a beer and gave it to me when I came out of the bathroom. ROCK ON!
Luckily, by the time Jesse was finished I was sobering up and could finally hold a camera still.
